Insurance

Prompt and professional communication with your insurance carrier is important to us. To help us assist you with your claims, please continue reading.

Electronic Claim Submission

We are pleased to be able to provide you with an electronic claim submission service. Using this service, your insurance company will receive your dental claim on the same day as your treatment and will be able to deliver your benefits within as short a time as possible.

Maintaining Up-to-Date Insurance Information

When arriving for your visit with us, it is important to bring along up-to-date insurance information. This information lets us know what procedures your insurance company does and does not cover, and will help us communicate with your insurance provider on your behalf. We do our best to remain current on the most common insurance plans offered by employers in the Bowmanville area. At the same time, we ask for your patience and understanding, as insurance carriers provide dozens of different types of plans, all of which are revised periodically. Disclaimer: Responsibility for Your Insurance

At Longworth Dental, we communicate with many insurance carriers on a daily basis. Your dental claim is submitted immediately upon treatment, with all required documentation. With this in mind, it is important to remember that the contract you signed with your employer and your insurance company remains your responsibility. We will do our best to advise you ahead of time of any balances that may remain after your insurance claim is paid. However, the amount your insurance company will pay is determined by the agreement between yourself, your employer and your insurance provider. With your help, we can help coordinate treatment in a manner which stays within your budget.
